As a church we committed to discipleship and training in biblical understaning (2 Tim. 2:2).  There are various ways in which this happens in a formal and informal way. An easy entry point for men to begin this type of dialog is by attending Theology for Breakfast.

Prayer and Devotions

Each Wednesday morning at 6am men meet at the church building for prayer, reading and discussion of the Scriptures.

Theology for Breakfast

Within the context of an informal small group setting men engage in theologically rich discussion. The goal of the study is not to get 'fat heads' leading to pride but theologically informed minds that leads to worship. The conversation is stimulating and encouraging. This is a great environment to engage with other men together for the glory of Christ.

The book that we use as framework for discussion is Wayne Grudem's Systematic Theology.  We have found this book to be very helpful in drawing our hearts and minds to engage with the Scriptures in a systematic way.

Pastor Dave Pugh leads this group that meets at 6am on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month. The location is at the Bellevue Panera near Cornhusker & Highway 75 (map)
